From the 19th to the 22th of November the Italian Selections of the 68° Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin (February 15-25, 2018) will take place in Rome. 
The delegate for Italy and member of Berlinale selection committee, Vincenzo Bugno, and some festival representatives will be our guest at Istituto Luce Cinecittà to select Italian films for the upcoming edition.
To be eligible for the selections, films must have been produced within the last twelve months (starting from February 2017) and only released in their country of origin.
Priority will be given to World and International Premieres (please check "How to Berlinale" for more detailed info regarding the rules).
To submit your film please send an email to berlinalefilmitalia@cinecittaluce.it specifying title and director's name. it specifying title and director’s name. Only upon reception of your email we will send you a personal fee waiver code that must be used to fill out the entry form (without paying the fee) on
www.berlinale.de.
You must fill out and send the completed film entry to the Berlinale before November 1^st, 2017.
Therefore, we ask that you please send us the following materials by Monday, November 13th:
• A dvd/blue ray with English subtitles with the indication of which section you wish to apply for. (Those are more advisable than a link)
• A Pressbook, in English;

Berlinale receives every year thousands of films. Each one is seen and discussed. It is therefore possible that candidates may be contacted even after few weeks.
