Istituto Luce Cinecittà will host, from this year, the selections for Italian documentaries at FIDMarseille (29th Edition: July 10th - 16th, 2018).
Rebecca De Pas, FIDLab Co-Head and member of the selection committee, will be in Rome to view the Italian documentaries at our offices from Monday 26th to Wednesday 28th March, 2018.
Here are selected selection guidelines:
* The films and programs submitted for the official selection must have been produced no earlier than January 1, 2017.
* Long and short films may be submitted for selection.
* All supports (film, video) may be submitted.
* Official Selection, competitive: World or International Premiere is required.
* for Parallel Programs (retrospectives, homages, round tables, cartes blanches, and all special screenings), French Premiere is required.

We would like to inform you that documentaries submitted through us, will be exempt from the submission fee and no entry form is needed.

* Vimeo link or other streaming link;
* please note that films must be subtitled in English or French.

NB: Festival also accepts fiction films, to submit them please apply on Festival Website.
