Italy comes back from Berlinale with two important awards:
The International Jury presided by Juliette Binoche and composed by Justin Chang, Sandra Hüller, Sebastián Lelio, Rajendra Roy and Trudie Styler awarded Maurizio Braucci, Claudio Giovannesi and Roberto Saviano with the Silver Bear for Best Screenplay for PIRANHAS - LA PARANZA DEI BAMBINI directed by Claudio Giovannesi (World Sales: Elle Driver).
The Panorama Jury of of the Fédération Internationale de la Presse Cinématographique (FIPRESCI), composed by Angelika Kettelhack, Salome Kikaleishvili and Massimo Lechi declared Winner of the Fipresci Prize DAFNE by Federico Bondi (World Sales: Rai Com).
The Italian film selections for Berlinale are coordinated by Istituto Luce Cinecittà - Filmitalia.
