As usual Filmitalia, the Promotion Dpt of Istituto Luce Cinecittà, organizes the Italian selections for the Toronto International Film Festival (44th edition, Sept. 5/15, 2019) and for the BFI London Film Festival (63rd edition, Oct. 2/13, 2019).

TORONTO
Andrea Picard, TIFF Programmer, will be our guest to watch this year’s submissions from July 1st through the 3rd, 2019.
Eligibility:
Films must not have been previously submitted to TIFF for Festival consideration (not even in different versions or early working copies)
Films must have been completed after September 1, 2018

IMPORTANT! We remind you that starting from this year it is necessary to fill the entry form online but the submission fee will be waived if you submit your film trough the selections organized by us. We kindly ask you to send an email within June 14th to the following addresses: a.nucara@cinecittaluce.it and g.guerrasio@cinecittaluce.it. Please specify title, name of director and if it’s a feature film or a documentary. We will reply to you giving instructions for the submission and waiver code.

LONDRA
Adrian Wootton CEO of Film London and Program Advisor for The BFI London Film Festival will be our guest to watch this year’s submissions from July 9th through the 11th, 2019.
Eligibility:
Films must have been completed after the month of April 2018 (but must not have been screened in other international festivals prior to the 2018 edition of LFF) and must be UK premieres.
