Cinecitta’s International Promotion department is organizing the Italian selections for the upcoming 75. Festival de Cannes (May 17th - 28th, 2022).

RULES VALID FOR ALL SECTIONS:
Feature films that meet the following requirements can access the selections:
* Films produced in the twelve months preceding the festival
* Films that have not participated in other International festivals and that have not had any public screening outside their country of origin
* All submitted films must be subtitled in English or French

SPECIFIC RULES FOR EACH SECTION:

Competition, Out of Competition, Un Certain Regard:
To participate in the selections of the official sections it is mandatory to register by Friday, 11 March >at this link<. The films must be sent no later than Friday March, 18 to Christian Jeune, Director of Film Department, Bruno Munoz, Assistant to the Film Department Director and a copy to Griselda Guerrasio and Serena Mazzi.

We ask you to notify us by Wednesday, March 16th, if you want to have the films also seen by the correspondent Lorenzo Codelli (in Rome from March 21-24,2022).

Quinzaine des Réalisateurs:
The General Delegate, Paolo Moretti and the Secretary General, Christophe Leparc, will be in Rome to select the films from March 16th to 18th.
In this first phase of selections, it is mandatory to register the films on the >Quinzaine website< without filling in the payment page (no credit card details must be entered). At the end of the procedure you must send an email to Paul Grivas pgrivas@quinzaine-realisateurs.com, g.guerrasio@cinecittaluce.it and s.mazzi@cinecittaluce.it specifying that the film will be viewed in Rome and you will receive a fee waiver code to complete registration for free. It is not necessary to send materials to Paris.
The links of the feature films must arrive by Monday, March 14th at the addresses indicated at the end of this statement.

Semaine de la Critique:
For Semaine de la Critique (open to first and second features only) the selections will be held on the 14th and 15th of March, when Selection Committee member Frédéric Mercier will be in Rome.
It is not necessary in this first phase of selections, if you pass through us, to register, pay the fee or send materials to Paris.
The links of the feature films must arrive by Friday, March 11th at the addresses indicated at the end of this statement.

MATERIALS REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE TO THE SELECTIONS / CONTACTS:
A link accompanied by informative material, preferably in English, must be sent to the contacts for the selections. Please specify the sections for which you intend to submit the film.
