From July 10th to August 2nd,  Filmitalia, the International Promotion Area of ​​Cinecittà, will organize the Italian selections for London, Thessaloniki, Busan, Chicago, Tokyo and Haifa festivals.

RULES FOR ALL SELECTIONS:
* We ask you to let us know for which festivals you intend to submit your film by writing directly to the people in charge of the selection(s) you are interested in.
* Sending a single link will be sufficient if you participate in multiple selections.
* Films must be subtitled in English.
* Please note that for these festivals it is not necessary to register online and/or pay submission fees if you participate in the selections organized by us.
* All links must arrive no later than Friday, June 30th.

67th BFI London Film Festival (October 4-15)
Selection: Adrian Wootton (Program Advisor), in Rome July 10-13.
Eligibility criteria: films must have been produced in the 12 months before the beginning of the festival; films must be at least a UK premiere.

64th Thessaloniki International Film Festival (November 2-12)
Selection: Yorgos Krassakopoulos (Head of Programming), in Rome July 13-15.
Eligibility criteria: films/docs must have been produced and completed in the 18 months before the beginning of the festival; films must not have had a public screening or a distribution in Greece (cinema, TV, online); films must be at least 60 minutes long.

28th Busan International Film Festival (October 4-13)
Selection: Seo Seunghee (Senior Programmer), in Rome July 16-20.
Eligibility criteria: films must have been completed after October 2022; priority is given to International and World premiere.

59th Chicago International Film Festival (October 11-22)
Selection: Mimi Plauchè (Director), in Rome July 24-25.
Eligibility criteria: films must have been completed after the 1st of August 2022; films must have had the premiere after the 23rd of October 2022; films must be at least a Chicago premiere; priority is given to US premiere.

36th Tokyo International Film Festival (October 23 – November 1)
Selection: Shozo Ichiyama (Programming Director), in Rome July 26-28 (tbc).
Eligibility criteria: for the International Competition, films must be longer than 60 minutes, never released in Japan and completed after the 1st of January 2023; priority is given to World or International premiere; films that have been distributed on platforms or with a home video commercial release are not eligible.

39th Haifa International Film Festival (September 28 – October 7)
Selection: Yaron Shamir (Director), in Rome July 30 – August 2.
Eligibility criteria: films must have been completed after October 2022; the Festival doesn’t select documentaries; the selected films must have partecipated at least in another festival; films must be an Israeli premiere.
