Like every year, Filmitalia will coordinate the selections for Italian films at the Sundance Film Festival (January 23-February 2, 2025) with Senior Programmer, John Nein.
We remind you that for the International Narrative competition (Features and  Documentaries) and World Cinema Competition  only films retaining international premiere status are eligible for open submission to this category. Completed films that have been or will have been exhibited theatrically (festival or otherwise) outside of the film’s country or countries of origin prior to January 29, 2025 are not eligible for open submission to this category. If you have not already done so, you can submit films through Filmitalia and be exempt from paying the admission fee. To get the access code for free registration you must request it at the following email addresses: m.catalino@cinecitta.it, g.guerrasio@cinecitta.it specifying the title, director and genre and send us a link with English subtitles by Friday, October 4.
