This year Cinecittà will host the selections of Italian films for the next edition of FIPADOC (Biarritz,January 24th - February 1st, 2025).
François Lioret, head programmer of the festival, will be our guest to watch this year’s submissions from October 22nd through October 24th 2024.
These are the main guidelines of the selections
The festival includes the following competitive sections:
* International and Impact Competition;
* Competition for French authors;
* Competition for music documentaries. Furthermore, various Special Prizes include the Audience Award for Francophone films, Mitrani Prize, Ciné+ Prize, Tenk Award, Young Europeans Award.
The Festival then proposes various non-competitive sections.
General rules:
* The Festival only takes into consideration films produced between 1 November 2023 and 11 October 2024;
* The minimum duration must be 50 min. (except for the New Talent, Short Films and Smart sections);
*The French preview is required for the international competition and for music documentaries sections.
We remind you that the documentaries proposed through us will be exempt from paying the admission fee, but the >Entry Form< must still be filled in to complete the registration.
