Toronto: call for the Italian selections

As every year, Filmitalia organizes the Italian selections for the TIFF-Toronto International Film Festival (50th edition, September 5th - 15th, 2024).

Eligibility criteria:
Films must have a minimum runtime of 60 minutes, have been completed after September 5th, 2024 and must have a minimum North American Premiere status. Films already proposed in other versions for previous editions of TIFF will not be accepted. Complete rules: www.tiff.net/submissions
How to submit:
It is necessary both to send us a link of the film with English subtitles, and to do the online registration of the film via filmfreeway.com/TIFF.
It’s possible not to pay the submission fee if you participate in the selections through Cinecittà. To get the waiver code for free registration, you must request it to the selection managers no later than May 30th and then submit the film no later than June 9th. When registering you should upload the film. Should the film not be available in its final version, please let us know promptly in order to agree together the timing of the final delivery.
For short films and documentaries you will have to apply autonomously on the TIFF website no later than May 9th following the official deadlines and rules.
