This year Cinecittà will host the selections of Italian films for the next edition of Millennium Docs Against Gravity (May 8th - 17th, 2026). Artur Liebhart, Director of the festival, will be our guest to watch this year’s submissions from January 15th and January 16th 2026.
These are the main guidelines of the selections:
• The festival accepts films that would have their Polish premiere at the festival.
• You can submit films that are over 45 minutes long
• The deadline for submissions is: January 9, 2026
We remind you that the documentaries proposed through us will be exempt from paying the admission fee, but the >Entry Form< must still be filled in to complete the registration via “Eventival” (you can find the login button in the top-right corner of the submission page).
To receive your waiver you should send a request for a “Cinecittà code” to the following email address submission@againstgravity.pl no later than Thursday, January 8th 2026, specifying the title, direction and duration.
At the same time, and respecting the same deadline, we invite you to send a Vimeo link with English subtitles of the films you intend to submit, indicating “Millennium DOCS AGAINST GRAVITY 2026 Selections” as the reference, to the attention of:
