We'd like to inform you about the Italian selections for the 79. Festival de Cannes (May 12–23, 2026).

RULES VALID FOR ALL SECTIONS:
Feature-length films that meet the following requirements are eligible for selection:
* Films produced in the twelve months preceding the festival
* Films that have not participated in other international festivals and have not had any public screenings outside their country of origin (world premieres are required for the Semaine de la Critique)
* All films submitted must be subtitled in English or French and have a minimum running time of 60 minutes

SPECIFIC RULES FOR EACH SECTION:

Competition, Out of Competition, Un Certain Regard:
For the official sections you can proceed independently, registering the films by March 13th on the Cannes website >at this link<.

Quinzaine des Réalisateurs:
To participate in the Quinzaine des cinéastes selections through us, you must register and upload your films on the >Quinzaine website< by march 13th. The first 20 to contact us will receive a fee waiver code to complete the registration free of charge.
We kindly ask you to send an email, indicating the title and director of the film you wish to submit, to: g.guerrasio@cinecitta.it; s.mazzi@cinecitta.it; a.nucara@cinecitta.it
Links to feature films subtitled in English or French must also be sent to the above email addresses by Friday, March 13th.

Semaine de la Critique:
To submit your film through us to Semaine de la Critique (only first and second films are eligible), you must provide us with the title and director of the film by March 2nd by sending an email to: g.guerrasio@cinecitta.it; s.mazzi@cinecitta.it; a.nucara@cinecitta.it. Upon contact, we will provide you with an individual waiver code (with a 40% discount) that will allow you to proceed with the mandatory submission of your film on the >Semaine website<. Submissions must be completed by March 6, 2026.
Links to feature films subtitled in English or French must be sent to the above email addresses and simultaneously uploaded to the Semaine website by Friday, March 6.
