Again this year, the official selectors of the Toronto International Film Festival which include President Piers Handling, take home excellent winnings from our country. Following the selections, organized and carried out by Audiovisual Industry Promotion, the most recent Italian production is represented by a large and heterogeneous team.

Six films have been selected in all of the sections of TIFF 2004: L'amore ritrovato, directed by Carlo Mazzacurati will represent Italy in the prestigious Gala section, while Le chiavi di casa by Gianni Amelio is the Italian entry in Contemporary World Cinema..
Two films in Discovery, Private by Saverio Costanzo, winner of the Golden Leopard in the Locarno Film Festival and Vento di terra, by Vincenzo Marra, straight from the section Nuovi Orizzonti in Venice. Asia Argento’s dream like film , The Heart is deceitful above all things will be presented in Visions, and last but not least, Master Michelangelo Antonioni ‘s film Eros presiding the section, Masters.
