As an office study, Audiovisual Industry Promotion has begun a value analysis of the actual market potentials of Italian cinema in China, The Mediterranean Basin and Latin America, in order to formulate promotional strategies specifically related to each of the three areas concerned.
The primary objectives of this research, whose results will be posted at the end of November, deal with singling out the strengths and analysing the specific market potentials of the national film production, in order to find key promotional strategies in the foreign markets being considered. In order to reach this aim, the key players, have been singled out in each one of these territories: operators in production and distribution, organizers of cultural events, festival directors, experts in film marketing, distributors, official institutional trade representatives. These‘ players’ who are an active force in the three markets being studied, and with whom are forseen a series of encounters and interviews based on economic values and statistics, case history operational levers and channels in each market, will provide the means to best define the most effective opportunities for these markets in regards to our audiovisual products.
