From October 20th to November 4th, 2004 the English capital will be hosting the 48th edition of the London Film Festival. Seven Italian films will be featured in the Festival programme (5 feature films, a documentary and a short) two of them, sneak previews: Consequences of Love by Paolo Sorrentino and The House Keys by Gianni Amelio, both distributed in the UK by Artificial Eye.
The other titles being presented are: Caterina in the Big City by Paolo Virzì, The Day of the Falcon by Rodolfo Bisatti, I Like Working (Mobbing) by Francesca Comencini, Oh, Man by Yervant Gianikian and Angela Ricci Lucchi, and finally, the short The Age of Fire by Mauro Calvone.
The films will be presented by an Italian delegation which will include the Directors Gianni Amelio, Paolo Sorrentino and Paolo Virzì. On October 22nd, to mark this occasion, Audiovisual Industry Promotion and the Italian Cultural Institute in London will be giving a buffet-dinner to celebrate the Italian delegation taking part in the festival.
Also worth mentioning among the seven Italian co-productions in the programme, are La Niña Santa by Lucretia Martel and Tropical Malady by Thailandese Apichatpong Weerasethakul.
