Eleven of Italian cinema’s most recent titles disembark in Venezuela as a film review on tour

The new Italian cinema in Caracas

From November 12th through December 15th, the second edition of the New Italian cinema review, conceived as a review which travels throughout Venezuela, starts off in Caracas, and moves on to the cities of Maracay, Valencia, Barquisimeto, Maracaibo and Porlamar. Of the 11 titles which make up the programme, some of these will be actual premieres for South America.
This touring film review, plays center stage in the Festival Italiano, which is comprised of 30 other cultural events, celebrating the arts, music, and entertainment, representing the best of ‘Made in Italy’.
The event which is organized by the Italian Cultural Institute in Caracas together with the National Institute for Foreign Trade, the Italian Consulate in Caracas, the Italian Consulate in Maracaibo, the Italian-Venezuelan Chamber of Commerce, under the auspices of the Italian Embassy in Venezuela and with the active collaboration of Aip-Filmitalia - will be giving the Venezuelan public an inside look at the new directions and tendencies, Italian cinema has been taking, in recent years, as well as circulating the latest cultural news from our country, using local media and press.
