The Jury of the 27th Italian Film Festival in Villerupt (Nancy), presided by director Roberto Andò, during the closing night of the festival, Saturday the 13th, awarded the most prestigious prize, - the Amilcar , named after Amilcare Zanoni, sculptor and son of emigrants, responsible for creating the festival emblems – to Paolo Franchi’s film: La spettatrice.
The Amilcar Audience – prize , noteworthy because of the 43,000 spectators following this event, also seen as the first film showcase of ‘ Made in Italy,’in France, goes to Che ne sarà di noi by Giovanni Veronesi.
The Press gave their award to Io non ho paura by Gabriele Salvatores and the young Jury prize went to Non ti muovere by Sergio Castellitto.
