Bafta 2005 for the Best Production Design goes to Dante Ferretti

Dante Ferretti wins the Orange British Academy Film Award (BAFTA) 2005 for best production design for the movie by Martin Scorsese The Aviator. It is the upteenth award marking the genius and career of Dante Ferretti – already the winner of two Bafta Film Awards, in 1990 with The Adventures of the Baron of Munchausen by Terry Gilliam and in 1995 for Interview with a Vampire by Neil Jordan – just a few days away from the Oscar ceremony in which Dante Ferretti has received his seventh nomination, and is once more a candidate for Scorsese’s film The Aviator.
