Starting off from the island of Ischia, the first edition of B.I.C.T. (International Movie Tourism Exchange) will take place from June 22nd- 25th, in the beautiful setting of the historical centre of Ischia, right on the sea by the Aragonese castle.
The event is the result of the partnership between Expo cts, the organizers of BIT in Milan, and the Ischia Film Festival, which reaches its third edition this year and gives out awards to the productions who have used the “Locations” to their best advantage.

The aim of the BICT is to create a meeting point where events, conferences and workshops will offer professionals in the sector, an important opportunity to meet each other, discuss and exchange different point of views and experiences.
The essence of BICT goes beyond the simple trade show, as it is also open to the public, and therefore not just aimed at those working in the sector: it aims to establish both a business and exchange of experiences and information between operators and experts from all over the world.

The exposition area and linked events will be free of access to the public. The type of exhibitors taking part are Tour Operators, Regional and National and International Film Commissions, Film Institutes and Related Services.
In June therefore thanks to the synergy between Ischia Film Festival and the B.I.C.T., the island of Ischia will become the preferred destination for the movie spectator to plan his next vacation, ‘on location‘.
