An early Spring anticipation of Italian cinema’s numerous film titles, that will be the guests of the next International film festivals, during the month of March

Beginning with Private by Saverio Costanzo and the co-production Hotel Rwanda by Terry George which will be presented in Amsterdam during the Amnesty International Film Festival, March 9th -13th.
Land Wind by Vincenzo Marra, in March will be participating in three festivals at the same time: March 10th-20th, at the Argentinian festival of Mar del Plata, along with the co-productions: The Angel On The Right Shoulder by Djamshed Usmonov and The Heart is Deceitful above All Things by Asia Argento; on these same dates, the films will be part of the programmed screenings in the U.S. at the Cleveland International Film Festival, along with the film, Stolen Childhood by the Frazzi brothers, and presented in Mexico at the Guadalajara International Film Festival ( March 11th-18th).

California’s Tiburon International Film Festival from March 11th -17th, will be presenting to the American public, Evilenko by David Grieco, Being 30 by Giovanna Taviani, L’isola by Costanza Quatriglio and the short Nunzia by Giulia Oriani.
Stork Day by Giulio Manfredonia and The Three Faces of Terror by Sergio Stivaletti representing Italy at the Brussels International Festival of Fantastic Film March 11th-26th, while the three co-productions The Tulse Luper Suitcases, Part I,The Moab Story, and Part II, Vaux to the Sea by Peter Greenaway and La Niña Santa by Lucrecia Martel, are programmed screenings at the Festival of Hong Kong March 22nd-April 6th.
Lastly we must not forget to mention the three Italian titles selected for New Directors/New Films which will take place in New York, March 23rd to April 3rd: Stolen Childhood by Andrea and Antonio Frazzi, First Love by Matteo Garrone and Private by Saverio Costanzo.
Also worth mentioning, Three Steps Dancing by Salvatore Mereu and The Miracle by Edoardo Winspeare which will be presented on the 30th and 31st during Madrid’s Noche Italiana, My Mother’s Smile by Marco Bellocchio and Children by Marco Bechis at the European Riga Film Festival (30 marzo-3 aprile). The city of Prague will be hosting from the last day in March through April 8th at the Febiofest a special tribute to Ermanno Olmi featuring 16 titles, including The Profession of Arms, Singing behind Screensand the most recent Tickets.

The month of March also stars our cinema at the 7th edition of the Italian Film Festival of Ajaccio which from March 25th through April 2nd, will present a large selection of the most recent Italian film productions.
