Quando sei nato non puoi più nasconderti the new film by Marco Tullio Giordana, already the winner of Un Certain Regard in 2003, with The Best of Youth, is in Compétition for the Palme D’Or at the 58th Cannes Film Festival, while L’orizzonte degli eventi by Daniele Vicari was selected for the 44th Semaine Internationale de la Critique.

Italy is also represented in the Festival’s special Fipresci screening, in collaboration with the Semaine Internationale de la Critique with Land Wind by Vincenzo Marra; also expected is a tribute to Valerio Zurlini with the special screening in the Quinzaine des Réalisateurs of the National School of Cinema’s restored version of Cronaca familiare.
