July 10th marks the opening at the Regina Isabella of Ischia of the third edition of the Global Film & Music Festival Ischia Global 2005 was officially inaugurated by the Deputy Minister of Culture Antonio Martusciello and Russian Ambassador Alexey Meshkov, at the Angelo Rizzoli Museum of Lacco Ameno.

The event conceived, and produced by Pascal Vicedomini in association with the Ischia International Art Academy, this year welcomes on the green island great Hollywood directors, International stars, Italian and foreign film producers and many new talents.
Following the success of the first two editions dedicated to Bollywood cinema and from the People’s Republic of China, the Ischia Global Film & Music Festival this year turns its projectors on Russian Cinema, with the participation of director Andrei Konchalovsky along with major muscovite film production companies.

Ischia Global 2005 is realized under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and in collaboration with Cinecittà Holding, Caffé Kimbo, Medmar, San Paolo-Bank of Naples, Naples Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by the Campania region, the province of Naples and the island districts of Ischia.
