The 28th festival of Italian cinema at Villerupt has crowned Sabina Guzzanti and her documentary Viva Zapatero!,with a record three prizes. Viva Zapatero won the Amilcar prize (the festivals top award) together with Sotto il sole nero by Enrico Verra; the Youth Prize (also shared, this time with Onde by Francesco Fei) and finally the public prize. Viva Zapatero! was distributed in Italy by Lucky Red, taking 1.6m euros in 8 weeks at the box office, and it is set to be distributed in France by Haut e Court from December 21 in 50 prints. Villerupt also gave a Special Award to Ferzan Ozpetek.
