Mexico city pays tribute to Pasolini

The third edition of the Mexico City International Film Festival ( February 21 – March 5, 2006), pays tribute to the Friulian poet Pier Paolo Pasolini, with a significant selection of his film productions. There are eleven titles in all, starting with "Accattone" from 1961 to "Salò" in 1976, also including "Mamma Roma" (1962), "Il Vangelo secondo Matteo" (1964), "Comizi d'amore (1965), Edipo re (1967), "Teorema" (1968), "Appunti per un' Orestiade africana" (1970), "Il Decameron" (1971), "I Racconti di Canterbury" (1972) and "Il Fiore delle mille e una notte" (1974).’s film "Private", presented in the section "Funciones al Aire Libre" and two co-productions : "2046" by Wong Kar-Wai and "Les Amants Reguliers" by Philippe Garrel, both presented in the section "Galas".
