FilmItalia is pleased to announce that Saverio Costanzos second feature film “In memoria di me” will be competing for Italy at the 57th Berlin International Film Festival. The film was produced by Mario Gianani for Offside productions and by Medusa. The participation of an Italian film in competition following the Festivals of Cannes, Venice and Rome, is a sign that the new generation of Italian cinema is rightfully represented on the International scene. Irene Bignardi, the President of Filmitalia adds: "The presence of Saverio Costanzo in the Competion line-up at the Berlin International Film Festival is a confirmation of the talent and achievement of this young and well loved director since the days of his Golden Pard in Locarno”.
