The Director Stefano Odoardi
won the award for Best Film. The director made the following statement upon receiving this award: "A major acknowledgement for my film! Too bad that up to now in Italy, no festival has taken into consideration this work which abroad is making its own way in festivals as well as theatres. Infact, in Holland it will be released next autumn by the distribution company Filmuseum.” Odoardi’s film will participate in the next "Jeonju International Film Festival" in Korea (April 26 – May 5,2007). The festival that also this year has presented around 240 films from 90 countries around the world paid tribute to Marcello Mastroianni with a film by Mario Canale and Annarosa Morri named “Marcello a sweet life”. Among the other Italian films that took part in this Californian event we would must also mention Enrico Coletti’s documentary “A secret life with Fidel”, “La destinazione” by Piero Sanna, “Shooting Silvio” by Berardo Carboni and the suggestive Short “Site Specific_Las Vegas 05” by Olivo Barberi.
