Excellent Italian takings at the 32nd Toronto Film Festival

Excellent Italian takings at the 32nd Toronto Film Festival (September 6-16): eight films and seven co-productions.
Three brand new world premieres: the new film by Silvio Soldini, Days and Clouds presented in Contemporary World Cinema, La terza madre, the latest and very anticipated thriller by Dario Argento, starring his daughter Asia, presented in the section Midnight Madness and the Italy/Belgium/Luxemburg film directed by Alessandro Capone, L'Amour caché, screening in the section Visions.
One Hundred Nails by Ermanno Olmi will be presented in the section Masters,while in Contemporary World Cinema we find three other Italian titles: directly from the Competition in Venice L’ora di punta by Vincenzo Marra followed by My Brother is an Only Child by Daniele Luchetti and In memory of me by young Saverio Costanzo.
Europa 2005, 27 ottobre by Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet to be screened in Wavelengths.
In the various sections of the Festival we also find a significant amount of very high-profile co-productions which include the much awaited world premiere of François Girard’s new film, Silk, adapted from the novel by Alessandro Baricco, Disengagement by Amos Gitai, Ne touchez pas la hache by Jacques Rivette, Les amours d’Astrée et de Céladon by Eric Rohmer, Erik Nietzsche - De Unge År by Jacob Thuesen, Erzählung by Hannes Schüpbach and It's a Free World... by Ken Loach.
