Pusan announces its films: 6 Italian titles

Considered one of the most significant and busiest festivals in all of Asia, the Pusan International Film Festival this year celebrates its 12th edition. Each year screening around 300 films from all over the world, equally holding one of the largest film markets. In terms of numbers, European cinema titles rank second after Asian films.
For this year’s edition, 4 Italian films and 2 International co-productions were selected to be screened in World Cinema: My Brother is an only child by Daniele Luchetti, One Hundred Nails by Master Ermanno Olmi, two films which most recently have been screened across the world : Cannes, London, Toronto, Moscow, Locarno, Karlovy Vary, The Girl by the Lake by Andrea Molaioli, a film highly acclaimed at this year’s 64th Venice Film Festival, Nessuna qualità agli eroi by Paolo Franchi also present at this year’s 64th Venice Film Festival screened in competition, and lastly the two co-productions It's a Free World... by Ken Loach, signed B.I.M. by Valerio De Paolis and Black Sun by Krzysztof Zanussi signed Igor Uboldi, Edelweiss. The festival kicks off October 4, and runs through Friday October 12th.
