This initiative providing screenings in DVD format of the latest Italian film productions which started out in Dar el Salam and moved on to numerous African areas (Yahoundé, Asmara etc..) has now extended itself to the Persian Gulf. Created to meet the demands of those areas with maintained costs and have difficulty finding the necessary financial resources to program film events in order for them not be left out of the Italian promotional film circuit. This tour, made possible thanks to a collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Filmitalia, with the support of Nuvola Film and Rai Trade will feature six titles screening in the months of October and November : My Brother’s Summer , by Pietro Reggiani; The Fever, by Alessandro D’Alatri; When do the girls show up? by Pupi Avati; One of Two, by Eugenio Cappuccio; Santa Maradona, by Marco Ponti; Agente matrimoniale, by Christian Bisceglia in the following cities Mascate, Manama, Abu Dhabi, Riad, Doha and Al Kuwait for the Festival of Italian cinema.
