On February 2nd, the 20th edition of “ Bastia’s Rencontre du Cinéma Italien ” successfully came to a close. This festival entirely dedicated to Italian cinema held in the city Bastia, Corsica, organized in collaboration with Filmitalia, presented twenty four films, twelve of these titles were selected in competition. The Jury which included leading figures from the culture and film world, awarded Stefano Incerti’s film, L'uomo di vetro: the “Grand Jury Prize” and gave the "Best Actor" award to the film’s leading protagonist, David Coco. The prize for "Best Actress" went to Olivia Magnani who starred in Maria Venera by director Beppe Cino. The University Jury assigned the “Prix du jury des étudiants de l'université de Corte » to the film Mi fido di te by Massimo Venier, while director Alessandro D’Alatri’s film, Commediasexy was the recipient of the “Audience award”.
