Istituto Luce Cinecittà is proud to announce that for the first time is organising the Italian selection for the GÖTEBORG FILM FESTIVAL 39th Edition, January 29th - February 8th, 2016. The Artistic Director Jonas Holmberg will be our guest in Rome from October 16th to 20th in order to select Italian films.

The section for international films is The Ingmar Bergman International Debut Award, for feature films by first and second time directors. The length must be 60 minutes minimum. To be considered for the festival 2016 the submitted film must have had its first public screening after January 1, 2015. Please note that any screening of the film in Sweden prior to the Festival automatically disqualifies the film from participating in the Göteborg Film Festival.

We kindly ask you to send the English subtitled DVD or blu-ray of the film you would like to submit, together with a pressbook, not later than October 9th 2015 to our office at the following address:
