Lost and Beautiful at Lincoln Center

US premiére for Lost and Beautiful by Pietro Marcello tonight at Walter Reade Theater of Lincoln Center in NY, at 9 pm, in the frame of New Directors/New Films festival. The film is acclaimed by The New York Times as the top highlight of the second festival week, and defined "a layered, labyrinthine meditation on Italy, failure and the need to continue moving forward even in the face of the impossible".
Second screening will be tomorrow at 6.30 pm at MoMA Titus 2.
Celebrating its 45th edition in 2016, New Directors/New Films introduces New York audiences to the work of emerging filmmakers from around the world. Throughout its rich history, New Directors has uncovered talents like Pedro Almódovar, Chantal Akerman, Hou Hsiao–hsien, Christopher Nolan, Laura Poitras, Spike Lee, and Kelly Reichardt.
New Directors/New Films is presented by the Film Society of Lincoln Center and The Museum of Modern Art.
