Felice and Massimo are two cow's herders in Southern Italy. Father and son, they breed a semi-wild type of cow. Their existence is hard and nomadic, moving from mountains to valley on foot, twice a year.
Intensive agricultural practices are endangering their lives. Because the animals they breed are free roaming, they need open range pastures, something really hard to find nowadays.
Massimo has a son, Manuel. The kid is in love with their trade. Will he be able to do what their fathers had done for so long?
