Blek Giek

Blek Giek

Tony is a young musician, close to her degree in composition. Her life is apparently very much together. She has a good relationship with Alberto who teaches palaeontology at University, she loves her studies, and she has a beautiful house.
Heroin, cocaine, acid, crack, ecstasy…stuff for little girls since the arrival of Blek Giek. It is not the usual artificial paradise this is real heaven! Do you know its effects? You just bang it up your nose and your heart stops. Catalepsy, apparent death. Then, after a few hours spent as a corpse, you wake up in great spirits with just one thing on your mind: another shot of Blek Giek. Obviously Ragno (Cristiano Callegaro), a long-standing drug addict, would do anything to get one shot of it. He is even keener because his friends Gigino (Pasquale Petriolo) and Albino (Massimo De Santis) have already been lucky enough to try some, and they have told him wonderful things about it, making him incredibly envious. However, Ragno, a real nerd, makes a mess of it. Many misunderstandings about the effects of Blek Giek will follow in a kind of explosive concoction. Dead people come back to life at their funeral; people still alive are taken for corpses to be used as donors. The man from the Neapolitan mob who needs a new heart, Scellone (Biagio Izzo), and the mob doctor – even more dangerous than his patients – the killer who, after an operation at his vocal chords, communicates writing notes, the famous university professor melt in acid because of jealousy and his Brazilian lover who runs away with the money. Drug is exchanged by mistake for powdered milk, and ends up in a baby bottle, guns that shoot at their users’ hands, fish that resuscitate in warm ovens and a fishing boat that, in the end, is a lot better than a drug rehabilitation center.
Betrayals, misunderstandings, gunshots. All this happens in front of the sea in wintertime, but it is not Naples, it is Fiumicino.
