The film describes a world, parallel to ours, made up of witches with supernatural powers. The witches are extremely alluring and their mission in life is to spread as much evil as possible. The story revolves around two men, who are both so-called "witch defusers", Gallio and his younger friend and apprentice, Teo.
Their task is to fight witches whenever and wherever they meet them. However, Teo is secretly in love with his brother Paolo's wife, Lucilla. She is a wealthy divorce lawyer, but also a witch of the highest order: she has infiltrated the family to destroy Teo and cause friction between the two brothers. Teo tries to defend himself, despite his attraction towards Lucilla. Meanwhile, under Gallio's guidance, he prepares to face and combat Lucilla, in order to defuse her powers.
