The film follows one day of Anna’s life. Anna is twenty-six, she studies Chemistry at University, she is a no global militant, she is a catholic. Anna seems to be the expression of a world wide youth movement, made of individual and political categories which are apparently confused and some times conflicting, quite different from the traditional political schemes. Anna is a “normal” girl, she lives in Porto Marghera, an “abnormal” place: a place where in every house there is a notice that tells people to close themselves in their homes as soon as they hear the siren of alarm for a mysterious “industrial risk”. A place where two generations of inhabitants are fighting against one of the most polluting petrochemical plants of the world, located just in front of the city of Venice, one of the most beautiful places on earth.
