The transformations that farming has undergone from the Fifties up to the present day in “la Bassa”, in the southern Po valley: its changing landscape and cultivation; its monoculture and intensive breeding of animals; immigrants from southern countries and Asia replacing the “paisan” (farm workers) and the “bergamini” (dairy workers) and the latest chains of food production, from animal breeding to the slaughter and processing of food products.
