Laura Bispuri wins at Haifa

DAUGHTER OF MINE by Laura Bispuri has won the the Golden Anchor Competition for Balkan and Mediterranean Cinema, in the amount of 40,000 NIS, at the 34th Haifa International Film Festival.
The Jury was composed by: Laëtitia Eïdo (France, Actress), Claudia Levin (Israel, Producer), Asaf Korman (Israel, Editor and Director)
Jury comments: “Daughter of Mine” portrays in rugged and poetic naturalism a beautifully acted and crafted story about a 10-year-old girl and her two mothers, one adoptive and the other biological. The film is a colorful portrayal of undefined maternity in which all three female protagonists are mothers and daughters.”
