Matteo, a boy from the city, goes to visit his grandfather in a secluded mountain village, where he meets his cousin Lidia and three local boys. The kids begin to explore the surrounding nature and start playing a dangerous game. Each of them tells a frightening story, evoking obscure mysteries, rooted in the past of the valley. Those horrifying tales, accurately structured in a time progression, put Matteo and the other kids in a growingly vulnerable state of mind, in which fear will make its part bringing those evil spirits of the past into reality. “The Valleys of Fear” is a dark fairy tale that takes us in a journey through ancient rural worlds, filled with magic and superstition, in which evil and the dark sides of nature prevail.
