The International Promotion Area of ​​Istituto Luce Cinecittà, Filmitalia, is organizing the Italian selections for the 71. Berlinale.
The selections will be held in Rome, in the second half of November, compatibly with the health situations in Italy and Germany.
Only Feature films produced during the 12 months preceding the festival (from February 2020) and distributed only in the country of origin are admitted to the preselections.
For the Competition and Encounters (new competitive section), priority will be given to world and International premieres. For Panorama, Forum and Generation, the minimum requirement is the European premiere.
Furthermore, in order to submit your film for the selections you are not required to pay the fee and register your film on the Berlinale website.

Please send either a DVD or Blu Ray and a link (preferably with English subtitles) to our offices by Monday 16th November, specifying in which section you wish to participate.
